Valencia

August

Morning

Head to the port and wander along the beach front. My favourite ice cream stop in the port is Jijonenca artesanos. The central market is also good for a nose round and Turia gardens is a loooovely park for a morning stroll too.

Afternoon

Rusafa is my absolute favourite place in Valencia. Lots of bars, cafes, and a flea market. Just a very fun place. We like these 2 places: Elrus Restaurant and Carrer la sueca 35. Be prepared for this sandwich place to possibly be quite a wait as it's vvv popular espec for an outside table and the chocolate cake for dessert is insane.

Evening

Then also in Rusafa we had a really good Mexican dinner here: www.lachingadaruzafa.com. It’s good for early evening drinks and in the heart of some lovely shopping. Or, in Valencia old town, by the cathedral, we love this tapas place for super chilled, down to earth tapas that isn't touristy at all and it never ever disappoints: Bar Cafeteria Plaza, C/ de l'Almodí, 12, Bajo, Ciutat Vella, 46003 València, Valencia, Spain.
